High Places
Where Every Ascent Demands a Choice
In the fortified heights of ancient Lachish—one of Judah’s most strategic strongholds—two houses stand only steps apart, yet worlds away.
One is built with intention.
Seven pillars.
Seven disciplines.
A life shaped by steadiness and truth.
The other leans on impulse.
Unstable walls.
Unstructured days.
A voice that promises everything and delivers nothing.
Peti climbs the steep ascent toward the upper city.
Caught between two voices rising over the ridge.
Both call out.
Both offer a way.
Only one leads to life.
High Places reimagines the tension at the heart of Proverbs 9—not as metaphor, but as lived reality. Set in the dust, stone, and heat of a real ancient city, this series explores the choices that shape a life: discipline or impulse, wisdom or folly, the long road or the shortcut.

Episode 5 — The Turning
